From the Desk of Dr. Jerry Roberson

August 4th, 2020

Dear Church Members and Friends,

I wanted to share with you some of the guidelines we will be observing in the upcoming weeks as we once again open the option of face-to-face worship on August 9th.  The option of face-to-face worship will be on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, and on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm. Our mid-week service will be online only, beginning at 6:30 pm.  We will continue to stream live online on our Facebook page and our website for those who choose the online option.

We will follow the recommendations our state has put in place:

  • We recommend that you wear a mask when entering and exiting the building, and whenever you are in a group of any size.  We will have masks available for whoever needs one.
  • Once you have been seated and comfortable with the social distancing, you may remove your mask if you so choose.
  • We encourage you to wash your hands often. We have hand sanitizers located in all areas of our building.
  • We encourage you to sit with your family groups.
  • We encourage everyone to practice social distancing at all times.
  • We encourage that you refrain from hugging and other forms of physical contact; We encourage you to remain home if you don’t feel well, or if a family member that you are in close contact with does not feel well. There will be plenty of time for us to worship together in the near future.
  • Understand that if you are not comfortable in returning quite yet, then continue to enjoy worshipping with us online. We are facing a time like no other in our lifetime, so we understand, and our Lord understands where you are at this moment.

We will continue to update you as we move forward together.  I believe we still have work to do, and we can and will accomplish it all together.

Your servant in Christ.

Bro. Jerry
