Church Family,

Joshua 1:9 says this, “Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

After many hours of prayer and consideration from the staff and leadership of Chatom Baptist Church, and in compliance with the CDC’s recommendations, all services will be held online, effective immediately. Our hope and prayer is to resume normal schedule on Sunday, April 5th. Although this situation is not ideal, we are implementing multiple ways for you to continue to worship, give, and study with us!

  1. Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services will be streamed via Facebook Live. The full service will be available after each service on Facebook and on our website, @ Sunday evening services are cancelled until April 5th, unless notified otherwise.
  2. Our sermon series, “Imitate Me” will continue as normal.
  3. Our offices will be open from 8am to 3pm, Monday – Thursday, and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.
  4. Financial Contributions can be mailed to our office, brought in during office hours, or made on our website at All gifts and contributions can be made by credit card or e-check. You may also give via text message, just text your amount to 251-250-1530 and follow the instructions on the link.
  5. We will continue all Mission One efforts, but at this time we are suspending the Annie Armstrong Offering, so that all of our efforts can be focused on our community.

An announcement video will be posted every Thursday afternoon at 3pm, unless an emergency arises, in which case we will go live online. Thank you for your understanding and patience in this most unusual time, and we look forward to being back together as a body of believers very soon.

Grace and Peace,

Dr. Jerry Roberson
